In my book it isn't acceptable to open fire on someone just because there's a delay in responding to a diplomatic request for standings - particularly when dealing with a group who avoid firing on neutrals.
If Black Inquisition are as interested in Amarrian unity as they claim to be, then I suggest that they offer to pay an appropriate amount of compensation to the CVA.
Having said that, should either side in this dispute wish to open negotiations though an intermediary, then I offer my services as such.

Agreed. We hoped for better behavior from CVA. We still hope for a peaceful resolution.
We will take your consideration under advisement, but the ISK-value would have to be reduced by the amount of ships that were lost to CVA's agression.
I appriciate your offer for mediation. However, there may be a conflict of interests. PIE is a known member of CONFIDIO and CONFIDIO members, particularly the 1st Praetorian Guard are known allies of CVA. Any mediator would have to be pro-Amarr, but neutral in their dealing with both alliances.
Where did you hear that PIE is a member of Confido?

I could at this point bring up your past insults towards Emperor Heideran VII, Emperor Doriam II and House Tash-Murkon, but what has been said in the past isn't especially relevant to members of your alliance firing upon a loyalist vessel.
